Sinan Canan  Prof.Dr. Üsküdar University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Deparment of Psychology Head of Scientific Board of [n]Beyin

Sinan Canan was born in Ankara in 1972. Graduated from Hacettepe University Biology Department in 1995. He's done his MSc in Histology and Embryology department and PhD in Medical Phsyiology Department of Medical School of Ondokuz Mayis University, Samsun. He became an Associate Professor in Medical Physiology in 2010. He studied and worked in different instituitons, including Bartholin Institute Neurological Research Lab (Copenhagen, Denmark, 1998), Baskent University (Ankara, 2004-2009) and Yildirim Beyazit University (Ankara, 2010-2016). Dr. Canan generally preferred to work in multidisciplinary areas, including behavioral neuroscience, electrophysiology, chaos theory, complexity, fractal geometry and fractal behavior, evolutionary neuropsychology, language and learning. He also founded the first public neuroscience education center in Turkey, [n]Beyin ([n]Brain) in 2013 and has participated hundreds of public lectures, TV programs and educational activities across Turkey since then. He published several books and papers for the general public, including “Kimsenin Bilemeyeceği Şeyler” (The Things That No One Can Know, book, Tuti kitap, 2015), Değişen Beynim (My Changing Brain, book, Tuti kitap, 2015), "Unutulacak Şeyler" (Things to be Forgetten, book, Tuti kitap, 2016) and [n]Beyin Dergisi (periodic popular science magazine, since January, 2016) in Turkish language. Currently he is a full time professor in Uskudar University Psychology Department, head of Neuromarketing postgraduate program and also working as the head of scientific board of [n]Beyin. Dr. Sinan Canan deeply believes that the human beings are too complicated to live on only one profession and the human life is too long to spend for only one branch of knowledge, and he continues to work according to this personal principle.

Jerono P. Rotich, Ph.D.  Professor and Interim Chair Department of Human Performance and Leisure Studies North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University

Jerono P.  Rotich is a full professor and Interim Chair in the department of Human Performance and Leisure Studies, in the College of Health and Human Science at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in North Carolina, USA. Dr. Rotich earned her PhD in Exercise Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, North Carolina; Master of Science in Physical Education from the State University of New York at Brockport, New York; and Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Kenyatta University, Nairobi, Kenya (along with K-12 physical education teacher certification). Her  honors include;  2015 Board of Governors Teaching Excellence Award; 2014 recipient, North Carolina A&T State University Faculty Community Engagement scholarship Award ;2013 recipient,  National  Phi Epsilon Kappa Honors Society,  Distinguished Advisor Award ;  2014 Nominee and Inductee, The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi at North Carolina A&T State University; 2014 recipient, Gottabgaa International Community Empowerment Award, Dallas, Texas; North Carolina Kenyan Chapter , 2012  recipient, Health and Wellness Research and community Service Award;  2009  recipient, NCAT Junior  Faculty Teaching Excellence Award. Dr. Rotich's scholarship record includes, three co-edited books, numerous peer reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and conference proceedings. She has received over $ 2,300,000 grant support for 6 projects, and has applied for over $5,000,000 in grants.  Her research agenda focuses on obesity and behavior modification, immigrant and refugee acculturation; global and international education; underserved youth and cultural competence as a viable solution to decreasing health disparities and obesity among diverse minority populations. She is the founder and faculty advisor for the NCAT Red Cross Chapter and the Eta Delta Chapter of the Phi Epsilon Kappa at NCAT.

Dear ERPA participants,

Selected proceedings in ERPA Congresses on Education 2017 will be sent to the journal of SHS Web of Conferences for publication (if the authors request and pay the publication fee). ERPA 2015 and ERPA 2016 issues that are published in SHS Web of Conferences have already indexed in ISI Web of Knowledge. These proceedings should be well-written in terms of language use (the language of proceedings is English) and should be 5 to 8 pages in length.
